The AXON Multi Net Protector family of products is designed to protect against pulse surges, the 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet appliances. The AXON Multi Net Protectors work with modems, routers, network cards and all other Ethernet network elements that use twisted pair cable terminated with RJ45 plug. They are multichannel devices dedicated to protect server rooms, local telecommunication networks and all other systems based on multiple lines.
The fast semiconductor components used in the device eliminate the effects of pulse surges emerging between each pairs of wires in the 4-pair cable and the surge energy is discharged to the earth through the PE wire. There are available two versions of the device, which differ in the number of channels and dimensions: AXON Multi Net Protector 4, compact, 4-channel version and slightly larger AXON Multi Net Protector 8 which has 8 channels. They both have powder coated metal housing with 4 mounting holes.
