The multichannel device AXON Video IP Protector 24 is designed to provide surge protection of equipment used in digital surveillance systems, using twisted pair cable with RJ45 plug meeting 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet standard. The fast semiconductor components eliminate the effects of surges between the lines of each pair of wires, and the surge energy is discharged to the earth through the PE wire. The device is used as the protection for complex and sophisticated multichannel systems with a large number of cameras, recorders, monitors, etc. By placing independent protection channels in a common metal enclosure, the AXON Video IP Protector 24 simplify installation, which in turn reduces its cost and increases system reliability.
The AXON Video IP Protector 24 has 24 independent channels and is intended for installation in a 19-inch cabinet.
